he remaining believers stood by, pacing and shaking. Some writhed, and others wept. The noise from the crowd dissipated as Christ began to speak again, “My friends, your enemy is set upon the worldly. But you, who are not of this world, have become a dwelling place for this liar. My sisters and brothers, you bow down to the false gods fashioned by the hands of your enemy, and it is the guilt of your actions that has nailed you to a false cross. This cross is not from the Father. Nor is it from me. This cross is not yours to bear. It does not bless, nor does it love, because it is not built by the truth. It is so unlike you in so many ways.

“However, know that everything you have is in your own two hands. The liberation you seek lives within you. God lives within you. You live because of God. You love because of God. When you come after the Father, your soul becomes complete because of His true love, which is not of this world. The love of the Father is not a selfish love like that of your enemy. This enemy of yours peddles his love around like one feeds slop to pigs, and he delights in himself when you roll around in the mud with him. The love that is selfish is a false love, and it is from the devil. The love of God permeates to millions of magnitudes. This love is the love of the Father whose Son ascends to Heaven. Has your entire generation gone cold? Have you truly forgotten who you are?

“I have come again to reveal you to yourselves. Temperance, compassion, strength, faith, patience, tenderness, courage, peace, wisdom, merry-making, and gentle humor are some of the most blessed gifts God, the Father, has given you. When you run wildly around, you rob yourself, and you rob me of you. When you are a robber, all these good things will evade you, for this is the Will of God. I am not condemning you to an eternity of darkness, my friends. I love you whether you be robber or giver, but know that our Kingdom is a sanctified one. The house of my Father possesses all of these qualities and many more, extending to millions of magnitudes. While you have inherited His vast fortune, you rebuke His gentle hand. Even so, He has never retracted it from you, but He has not yet snatched you out of the world because you have not taken what is rightfully yours.

“While you are in this world, the prince of this generation sends you swayed to chase this and that. You are spinning endlessly in your graves by his work. Though it is a heavy burden on the heart, I admit that the Will of God demands judgment upon those who rebuke the Father in their idle behavior. However, the hand of the Father shall be the only one to prune His hedges. Do not overly concern yourselves with correcting for others what is unrighteous. I spoke to you and told you to pluck the wrongs out of your eye so you will have understanding. I say again, only God is good. Why do you doubt? You must submit to Him and accept His love, or you will be useless to the congregation. Only then will you be able show your sister to fish for herself. Only then will you be able to show your brother to lay down his sword in mercy. Once you have the Father's selfless love, you won't ask anything untoward of God's children. Your actions will carry out the work of the Holy Advocate. Your Father in Heaven has bestowed Himself upon you in this manner, so why don't you do the same? The Word of God is eternal and He has always remained the same, yet you still follow the laws of man. Even if you rebel against the world, you follow human rules. If you were a holy congregation, you would reveal your Father’s way and be like Him.

“The meaning of the prophecy at the first coming was to do just this: to show you the way to the Father, not to render that which dwells in the Father unto the world, for that is the work that the Father gives to those who earnestly seek Him. Yet many of you who have never entered the Kingdom of God seek to establish a kingdom on earth that is unknown to me. Remember that it was Joshua who made it to the promised land, not Moses. For Moses did not listen to the Lord, and he struck the second rock like the first rock. Moses satisfied the thirst of his people, yet he faced exile. Recall that Moses was instructed to commune with the second rock. The Father is the same now and forever, so this generation is no different than the generations that came before. I say again, the scriptures have told you about me, yet you lay down again and again the foundations that pierce my side. Despite being struck twice unjustly, I sacrifice my life for your sake. It is as noble to lay down one’s life for one’s friends as it is for his adversaries. By this measure, you are all my friends. I long to gather you to my side like Elijah and Moses. This is why I said I would come back for you. I told you this because I knew you would be lost without me, as you did not know where to find me. And when you did learn where I was, I would return to you. I have remained with you always. Do not continue to wait for me, for I am here with you now. Do you not understand?”

The crowd responded, “We believe who you say you are, but we do not understand what you are saying. How can you say you can come back if you have never left? You are speaking in contradictions! You have asked us to wait for you, and we have waited. Isn't your coming the fulfillment of the prophesied hour when you said you'd return us to the Father?”
